You Don’t Have Your Own Transportation? Try Public Transportation!

Not everyone has their own personal car or motorcycle to go to work. Most of the workers who have to go to the office have the option to use many varieties of public transportation. From cars to trains and many choices to choose from, you can just pick any way you like to go to work. What’s your choice?

In this discussion, let’s talk about the public transportation that Jakarta has to offer. Not only the capital city, but the cities around Jakarta including Tangerang, Bogor, Bekasi, and Depok. These five cities somehow all connected with each other, in fact it has the commuter line that connects all of them. But other than that, here are some public transportation that you could try!

1. Bus 

Who doesn’t love going on a bus? Whether it’s for school, work, or just a casual outing with your family or friends on the weekends. Cheap fares it’s also one of the reasons that people would choose to use the bus rather than anything else.

2. MRT 

This transportation has been around since early 2019 here in Indonesia. With only just one line at the moment currently running, MRT Indonesia has already been planning to build its future lines all over the city.

3. Angkot

Need to go to the market or a casual and relaxed outing to the other side of town? Well an Angkot might be the right answer for you! Angkot only costs around two to five thousands for you to spend. It’s very affordable isn’t it?

4. Bajaj

Another public transportation here in Indonesia that you should definitely try is Bajaj! What’s the difference between Bajaj and the other Transportation here in Jakarta? Well Bajaj has three wheels and has a very unique design! It also has a very good price.

5. Taxi 

Not just here in Jakarta, but taxis can be found in any city around the world. But the cost of it might be different. For example a city like New York who has the most expensive taxis in the world. But here in Jakarta, you might experience the most comfortable and cheap taxis in all over the world.

6. Online Transportation

What does it mean by online transportation? Well, an application such as Gojek, Grab, etc is why. The difference between all of the online transportation that has to offer is that here in Indonesia, the online transportation includes not just a car but a motorcycle! With cheap fares, people use it very often for their daily activities!
