There are so many things that you could bring to work, from the smallest to the biggest. The things that you might not need at all are the most important thing to bring, such as a laptop or your phone for communication with your boss or a client that you have. Is very vital that you bring your phone. Because if not, just imagine the horror that you have to face during that day!
Every person has every different perspective and preferences when it comes to the things they brought to the office. From small bags to the big ones, inside of someone’s bag is a true hidden gem of mysteries. But if you got confused on what to bring for work, here are some recommendations and you might need it!
1. Note & Pen
A note and a pen is like peanut butter and jelly, they’re always together somehow. If they’re not, then something is definitely missing don’t you think? Especially when you’re working, how are you supposed to write down all of the important stuff from that day? Memorize it and forget it? Almost impossible. So, you have to be prepared and always bring a note and a pen for work.
2. Laptop/Tablet
If you don’t feel like you don’t want to bring a pen and a note, just don’t forget to bring your laptop or tablet for your work. Considering the digital media and internet is one of the many things that people and work are related to, you must have to stay connected and use them on a daily basis everyday.
3. ID Card
Most office buildings have a security system that requires you to use an ID Card to get in the building. When you enter the lobby, you now have to go directly to the elevator. But when you want to enter the elevator corridor, you must tap your card to the machine that usually stands there aside from the receptions.
4. Mint Candy
Nine to five is long, just imagine you have to standby and be on until the evening for your work. Must be a tiring day if you don’t have a lot going on. In that case, bring some candy mints so that you have some exercise by chewing and helps you stay focused. What’s your favorite candy flavor?
5. Money
Whether it’s cash or in a debit/credit card, you always have to bring your money. Put it in your wallet to be safe and not get robbed. With money, you could buy your lunch, transport to and from the office back to your home, and many more!
6. Blazer & Tie
Dress appropriately and professionally so that everyone takes you seriously while at the office, you don’t want them to look at you not as respectful as it should be, right? Wear some blazer and tie just to be sure. In fact, always come prepared and put it in your suitcase or bag.
7. Charger
Lastly, bring your gadget or electronics charger to the office. You might have a long day ahead of you and just in case your battery might run low at some point, you already bring some charger for the rescue!
